VISUAL IDENTITY FOR SKY SOCIAL CHANNELS

Role: Motion Designer

Brief

Design a cohesive visual identity for Sky’s social channels that drives engagement with under-35 audiences and establishes a clear, ownable look and feel across all content and across all aspect ratios.

On this project, I worked as the principal motion designer, partnering closely with the graphic designer to translate static layouts into motion.

The visual direction was inspired by the rise of bento-style layouts across social — something that was already resonating with younger audiences on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. The goal was to tap into that familiar language, but elevate it into something that felt more considered and on-brand.

My role was to take the Photoshop designs into After Effects and really bring them to life — designing the motion system, refining transitions, and animating the typography and modular “boxes” so everything felt cohesive and dynamic.

A big part of the value was building this as a flexible toolkit rather than a one-off piece — creating reusable templates that internal teams and external agencies could pick up and use consistently, without losing quality. with under-35 audiences and establishes a clear, ownable look and feel across all content and across all aspect ratios.
